200+ fans! Thank you so much and let's create something togheter!

Posted by SanyaUmbra - March 26th, 2024

And we reached the 200 fans goal! I want to thank each everyone of you, the one that commented to my art, the one that give feedback and also the one that memed on them. I'm really greatfull for your continue support!

So, last time I didn't know what to do, not knowing what you like the most.

This time I have an idea, seeing that you like my d&d stuff:

tell me in the comments your idea of an original creature, one ispired from other media or any other inspiration to craete togheter a new Dungeons & dragon's monster, creature or hero!

The three best idea will get drawned, with statblock and cut-in and made free for all of you on my patreon page (only for making the downloading prosses easier) plus, of course, as a daily art on newgrounds.

I want to genuinely thank you again, you all have given me back a little more of will to post on socials.

Grazie mille gente, sul serio.

I hope you'll keep following me in the future and keep on creating!

I have a couple ideas and each one of them follows the same rule: using a class to remix a classic character from Newgrounds. Like I said, I have multiple ideas but if you like one of them, you can just pick one.

My ideas are:
A classical warrior who takes the lead, but instead it's the main Captain from the Tankmen series, being an immature leader who makes maybe one too many cock jokes.
An stealthy assassin that tries to quickly kill off their target to remix the idea of Hank Wimbleton from Madness Combat.
A sort-of battlemage idea, using their powerful Binary Sword (or some different version of it) as well as their powerful magic to change Jebediah Christoff from MadCom (Yes, I did two Madness Combat Characters) with his various powers, like resurrecting the dead into Zeds, having a deflecting shield, using some sort of telekinesis to lift up enemies and weapons and more.
A gunslinger (or something calmer if guns are too crazy) for the well-known secondary mascot of Newgrounds, Pico from Pico's School and many more games and movies.
And for one more recent and popular one, a bard but with a weird singing voice, that while some people don't like, many others like to remix Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin'.

Mh...it's a really interesting idea, especially thinking that all of them are very cartoony in style so making them as d&d characters will give them an entirely new look (that is a thing I really like). I admit that I know madness combat only by look, but I sort of see them well as d&d redesign as the others (that I know a bit more).
What can I say, Toaster, great suggestions as allways!

Mimics in strange places

Very general but interesting nontheless. Mh, I could allready have some ideas

I'm not too familiar with DnD's vast array of creatures, so there may already be something like this, but either way:
I was thinking there could be some sort of mosquito type creature that latches itself to people's backs, draining blood. Thing is, it can go totally invisible, and, like an actual mosquito, it numbs the area it latches onto, so you can't really feel or see it.
An encounter could start off with something like "You feel a prick on your back" or "You feel something touch your shoulder" and unless the player character reaches out to scratch or touch their back, they would be none the wiser.
If it stays latched on maybe it could grant a level or 2 of exhaustion due to the lack of blood?
I'd imagine the insect would become more and more visible as it gets full of blood, then unlatching itself and flying away if successful.

Ohoh, that's sounds both creepy and cool, I like it!
There is allready a mosquito like monster in dnd but, not counting some of it's design, is maybe one of the most boring monsters out there (search for stirge) so your don't idea doesn't have any competition for now. Thank you so much for the suggestion!
